Uberrime Uno & Essential G-Spot Dildo Reviews

Uberrime Uno & Essential G-spot Dildos

For anyone new here or those who aren’t quite as into the sex toy scene, meet Uberrime: an artisan dildo company that makes the most beautiful toys in the business. They do everything from beginner-friendly dildos to wild fantasy tentacles and super-sized, realistic insertables. If you want it, Uberrime makes it in the best colors imaginable with intelligent silicone firmness choices (thanks Marco). Today, I have two affordable (under $50 including shipping!) g-spot focused dildos; these are great for folx who want some g-spot stimulation without a ton of fancy features, wild sizes, or realism. I’m here to help you figure out whether you’ll prefer the Uno or Essential (or perhaps you'd enjoy both) and direct you towards other options if neither seem quite your style. Let’s dive in!

Uno:

The Uno is an abstract g-spot dildo with a bulbous oval head. It’s made of an 8a shore silicone which feels like a stale gummy bear and yields a bit to the touch and is flexible in use. Here are the measurements:

  • 6.5 inches long

  • 5.5 inches insertable length

  • 1.47 inches max diameter

  • 1.27 inches shaft diameter

The Uno is by no means an imposing dildo. It’s not for folx who crave big sizes or funky texture. Uno is smooth and textureless on the shaft, meaning that it glides effortlessly with a little lube (natural or store bought). The shaft is lightly curved  to provide g-spot contact without being dramatic: I’ve included photos of the dildo curves below for reference.

The head on Uno is interesting and frankly unlike anything else I’ve seen in dildos, but it’s absolutely genius. The oval shape with a lightly protruding ridge feels so similar to fingers when massaged into the g-spot but without the sometimes uncomfortable poking that can happen.

Uno is impactful yet refined: everything a basic dildo should be. The Uno has a flat, harness-compatible base and is firm enough to be stable during harness play (though not as stable as something dual density like the Splendid). Uno is made of solid colors that come in several bright and glittery shades: mine is a beautiful true blue color with swirling shimmer and the signature uberrrime flower on the base.

Who Will Like The Uno?

Folx who enjoy gentler g-spot or p-spot stimulation in a non-representational package and beautiful colors at a very affordable price. The Uno doesn't have loads of bells and whistles, but I absolutely adore it as a warm up dildo or something gentle on my more sensitive days. Click here to buy it.

Essential G-spot:

The Essential G-Spot is a semi-abstract dildo--could give off penis energy with some imagination--with a smooth, slightly thicker shaft, longer head, and subtle double ridges. The Essential G-spot is made of the same medium firmness silicone as the Uno so the curve doesn't feel harsh or overly intense but it’s definitely more dramatic than the Uno.

Here are the measurements:

  • 6.75 inches length

  • 6 inches insertable length

  • 1.67 inches max diameter

  • 1.43 inches shaft diameter

While I wouldn't call the Essential imposing, it’s definitely got more presence than the Uno: it’s thicker, more curved, and has a sort of double ridge design at the base of the head. The double ridges are great for really thrusting past the g-spot whereas the Uno it good for thrusting more shallowly at the g-spot to mimic fingers caressing your bits (in my opinion that is. Obviously, you can use these however you see fit).

The Essential has more customizability options than the Uno: you can get it in SO MANY different colors and you can even add on a suction cup or bullet vibe base (where you can insert a bullet vibe to make the dildo vibrate). The Essential also has an orientation nub: no other dildos in my collection have this and it’s so smart. It allows you to easily know which way you dildo is facing while inside you.

The Essential has a harness-compatible base and stays relatively stable during play. The suction cup (which mine happens to have) is quite strong and sticks to any flat surface. Personally, the Essential is one of my favorite daily use dildos: it’s not crazy big so it doesn't require warm-up but it's so nicely stimulating that I find the orgasms come (cum hehe) effortlessly.

Who Will Like the Essential?

Someone who wants a medium sized g-spot dildo with a nice curve in a semi-representational package and lots of color and base options. It is not for people who want a small introduction to penetrative play or size queens (unless you wnt a delicious warm up dildo). Click here to buy it.

Uberrime Uno, Bene, and Essential G-spot Dildos

Neither of these seem quite for me…

Don’t worry! I have reviews of two other Uberimme toys: the Splendid Medium and the Bene. The Bene is somewhere between the Uno and Essential in terms of size and curve and also comes in at that $50 price point. The Splendid is a dual density dildo that’s bigger and more realistic than the others mentioned in this review. If none of those sound *quite right to you,* go check out the Uberrime website: I’m always happy to answer questions and help you pick out products and they have lots of great stuff.

The Uno and Essential G-spot Dildos were sent to me by Uberrime in exchange for my honest review. My opinions are always 100% my own. If you’d like to work with me, go to my Work With Me Page to see my policies and what I do.

I'm A. (she/her/hers), a clueless lesbian and blogger. I started this blog because I grew up in a small town where sex--especially queer sex--wasn't talked about. I was a determined youngster and managed to scrape the bottom of the internet barrel to find the information I needed (and later, the information I wanted). Now that I've learned a bit about queer pleasure in all of its forms, I wanted to create the resource I wish I'd had; a place where I could read about someone else's experiences and learn about sex from a pleasure-centered perspective. If you have a question about something or want me to cover a certain topic, just shoot me an email! Chances are, I've been there and would love to help or at least offer some moral support, and who knows, maybe others could benefit from a post about it.

Stay safe, be gay, and abolish the police,

A.

Welcome!
