Nu Sensuelle Joie Bullet Vibrator Review
Updated: Sep 29, 2020

Introduction
The Nu Sensuelle Joie Bullet Vibrator is not the perfect toy (at least not for my body and needs). That being said, it’s damn strong, waterproof, rechargeable with a decent use time (about 1.5 hours in my testing), and super compact/discreet: all for $35. For folx who love their deep, rumbly vibrations or broad stimulation, this is not the toy for you. I have a Magic Wand on it’s way and will post a review on that when it arrives, and I’ve had time to play with it: perhaps that will be more to your liking. But if you’re okay with some buzz that’s still strong and want/are okay with pinpoint stimulation, keep reading!
Good Vibes?
The Joie is a small, classic bullet vibrator, coming in at 0.67 inches in diameter and just under 3 inches in length with 3 speeds and 12 vibrations patterns. It’s coated in a smooth (albeit rock solid) silicone and is fully waterproof aka submersible for all your bathtime (or pool party?) needs. It has a little metal ring towards the bottom that I find annoying as it serves no real functions and making cleaning just a little bit harder; maybe some people find it pretty but to me, it’s typical vibe and will never be sex toy art.
The Joie is STRONG and the first vibration speed feels aggressive to me if I haven’t done any prior warm up and is somewhat buzzy. The vibrations get stronger and buzzier and louder; personally, I was shocked at how loud such a tiny toy could be. I don’t think the Joie could be heard from a different room, but I always feel quite *aware* that I’m using a vibrator. The patterns are very take it or leave it to me. I have never been one to use patterns on vibrators and this one has so many. Perhaps I would care less about the number of patterns if there were two navigation buttons but the Joie has one button for everything--on its bottom--so users can’t go up and back down the speeds or patterns.
A Bullet Here, A Bullet There, A Bullet Everywhere
I do not own any dildos, plugs, etc. that have hole in which bullets can be inserted (sex toy stores please send me one to review), but I feel like the Joie is strong enough to be suitable for this use or to be stuck in a harness if that’s more your speed. This vibrator is truly small. For some, this may be a winning quality (it’s smaller than a chapstick so very easy to travel with) but for my large hands, getting a hold of the Joie (especially if it’s covered in lube) caen be really difficult: especially given that the whole toy vibrates and often numbs my hands. Again, this is just personal preference. You may love really small toys and that’s awesome.
Bottom Line
The Joie is a strong bullet with some solid features at a low price (compared to something like the $80 We-Vibe Tango that I always see bloggers talking about). It’s a bullet I’d recommend to others looking for a powerful and versatile bullet that isn’t super expensive. If you do have larger hands though, maybe think about getting a bullet that is bigger for ease of use. Here’s a link to the Joie if you’d like to purchase it. Have a lovely day y’all.
